Neighborhood info

Narooma, which means "Clear Blue Water" in the local Aboriginal language is a beautiful coastal town. It is the perfect place to visit to enjoy nature at its very best. There are numerous stunning beaches, a 7 km cycle track from Narooma to Dalmeny, Barunguba Montague Island Reserve is a close boat ride away where you can snorkel or scuba dive with the seals or at the right time of year go whale watching (May to September). There is fantastic fishing off the coast for fish such as king fish and tune and there is no end to the amount of amazing coastal trails. The local restaurants are incredible with world class chefs who feature the very best local produce, which the area is known for, including some of the best oysters in the world. Kayak on the Wagonga Inlet or hire a BBQ boat for the afternoon. Visit the local historic town of Tilba with it's unique boutique shops, amazing Aboriginal Art galleries and the ABC cheese factory where you can taste the multi award winning Tilba Real Dairy Cheese. Visit the local wineries including Mimosa Winery with its world class restaurant with stunning views over the vines.
